Presenting at SAMPE Conference 15 November 2017 – Stuttgart

M Wright & Sons will be presenting a paper on Wednesday 15 November at the upcoming SAMPE Europe conference in Stuttgart.

The paper, entitled “High Performance 3D Woven” will discuss the potential for carbon fibre composites manufactured using 3D fibre preforms to exhibit improved damage tolerance over 2D laminates whilst maintaining equivalent in-plane mechanical performance. The paper will present some of the performance results generated in the recently completed NATEP research programme, ‘Inhibiting delamination in carbon fibre reinforced plastic composites’.
