M. Wright & Sons Exhibiting at DVD 2026, UTAC Millbrook

M. Wright & Sons will be exhibiting at DVD 2026 at UTAC Millbrook on 16th and 17th September. We’ll be showcasing our UK manufacturing capabilities for defence, military and other safety-critical applications. Visitors can find us on Stand C3 K16 throughout the event.

Tim Higham, Head of Sales, and Ruth Fell-Williams, Technical & Quality Manager, will represent M. Wright & Sons. Both will be available to discuss current requirements, new developments and future manufacturing projects.

UK Defence Webbing and Specialist Narrow Fabrics

As a UK defence webbing manufacturer, we produce a wide range of narrow woven fabrics, webbings, tapes and bindings. These products are used across demanding technical and military applications.

We work with a range of materials, including polyester, nylon, aramids and UHMWPE. We can support established specifications, but we also develop bespoke products for new applications.

At DVD 2026, we’ll have a selection of samples and finished products on the stand. Visitors will be able to handle different constructions, materials and finishes. It also gives us the chance to discuss specific requirements face to face.

UK Manufacturing Capability

Our manufacturing site is based in Quorn, Leicestershire. We bring weaving, product development, dyeing, finishing, sublimation printing, tensile testing and quality control together under one roof.

This gives us greater control over the full manufacturing process. It also allows our technical and commercial teams to work closely with customers from initial concept through to production.

For customers, that can mean quicker technical discussions, better product development and fewer stages between enquiry and manufacture.

Chameleon Camo and Sublimation Printing

We’ll also be highlighting our Chameleon Camo and sublimation printing capabilities at DVD 2026.

Chameleon Camo was developed specifically for narrow woven fabrics. It gives customers more freedom when adding camouflage patterns and colour variation to webbing, bindings and other textile components.

Our in-house sublimation printing process can produce detailed camouflage patterns, logos, gradients and other complex designs. The colour is transferred into the material rather than applied as a surface coating. This helps retain the original feel and flexibility of the fabric.

These capabilities are particularly relevant to tactical equipment, load-carrying systems, MOLLE applications, slings, belts and bindings.
